PLANTEDhouse was born from a love of lush greenery and thoughtfully designed interiors. Our mission is simple: bringing  nature indoors, one plant at a time — into homes, offices, and businesses. In a place as breathtaking as Big Sky, it’s remarkable how many interiors are missing that connection to the living world just outside. That’s where we come in.

Hi, I’m Jamey, the founder of PLANTEDhouse. I’ve called Big Sky home for 20 years now, many of which I spent working in interior design. My passion for creating beautiful spaces naturally grew into a love for houseplants — not just as decorative accents, but as living elements that enhance well-being and transform interior environments.

 

I’m not a scientist. I’m a passionate, plant enthusiast who draws knowledge from horticultural experts and scientists. With so much misinformation circulating online, PLANTEDhouse is committed to cutting through the noise. I look to trusted professionals with scientific backgrounds, ensuring the guidance I share is rooted in research, not just trends.

Through years of hands-on experience and keen observation, I’ve become deeply attuned to how plants interact with interiors, influence mood and productivity, and how to thoughtfully integrate them into a design. PLANTEDhouse is the culmination of that journey — a way to combine design expertise with a genuine love of greenery that creates spaces that thrive.
